How do I configure MFA?
When logging into a WBKey-supported application for the first time, you'll be prompted to enroll in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). To enroll in MFA for your WBKey account:
Select a MFA method. Your choice will be recorded and you will not be asked again for future sign-ins. Options include:
Authenticator App: get a verification code through an app on your mobile device, such as Microsoft Authenticator
Phone: get a text message (SMS) with a verification code or get a voice call
Email: get an email with a verification code
If the Authenticator App method was selected, you must install the Microsoft Authenticator app (or another authenticator app) on your mobile device. After installing the authenticator app on your mobile device, scan the provided QR code using the app. After scanning, your account will be added automatically. Click "Continue" on the WBKey login screen to finalize the process. You will then be required to enter a code provided by the Authenticator app, doing so will successfully log you in.
If you experience issues scanning the QR code using the mobile app, there should be an option to add the account manually in your mobile app. Once you select that option, you should be prompted to enter information for the account. On the MFA instructions in the WBKey browser window, please click the link "Can't scan? Try this." below the QR code and you will see the account information to enter in your mobile app.
If the Phone method was selected, upon each login you will be asked to select a phone authentication type, which includes the following options:
Text Message (SMS): get a text message (SMS) with a verification code
Voice Call: get a voice call to verify your account
If the Email method was selected, upon each login you will be asked to send an email with verification code to your inbox to verify your account.
